Hotel Description
Outrigger Hervey Bay Resort, built in early 2003 and comprised of two six-level buildings, is located on the waterfront within the established Marina Pacific Precinct at Hervey Bay, about 180 miles north of Queensland's capital city Brisbane.
One of Hervey Bay's primary attractions is for whale watchers to observe the annual pilgrimage from the Antarctic by hundreds of humpback whales, which use the sheltered bay and warm waters to give birth and nourish their young before returning to the Southern Pacific off Antarctica. In addition Hervey Bay is also the gateway to the World Heritage-listed Fraser Island National Park, the largest sand island in the world with rich abundance of native flora and fauna.
